Unrequited love.

I saw the headstone [link] in gallery.
I grabbed it .

I had made the skeleton [link] from stock, to use on another piece that just didn't work.


The fence and trees I had made earlier for unrestricted stock [link]
and added it.

It worked.


My favorite part of the piece is the shadows. I feel that I captured the light and shadow play.

For those of you who are not from the deep south and have never seen moonlight through Spanish moss in old Cemeteries
They really are these colors.
The tiny dew drops the moss catches acts like prisms that reflect the moons light across the graves.

I have found in making art in all mediums sometimes you can only finish a piece to a certain point, and then wait for that missing part that will pull it all together.
This is what redwolfs stock did for me.
When I saw cemetery stock 012 I knew it was my background.
